Seeking First His Priorities

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”  –Jesus (Matthew 6.33)

  • Not second not third not when I get around to it but first. Above everything!
  • His ways, His rule, His dominion, His approach.
  • His righteousness, His grace, His provision, not our works, not even our works after we are saved, it is always His work.
  • All things that we need, He knows and provides. They are gifts, again we do not work for them, we cooperate with Him as He leads, as He lays out the path for us and we walk with Him.

Why do we not continue to live in grace, in the reality that we cannot handle the “stuff” of life, but He can! We do not live this life of faith in our own power, we yield to the power of the Holy Spirit and let Jesus flow through us to honor the Father. So we do not even attempt balance we simply live for Him, in Him, entrusting ourselves to Him as our all in all–precious Jesus!

  2. This is a really good thought Darryl. The idea that balance is not a work of mine but is a creation of His activated by my surrender is so powerful.
